It’s another beautiful morning across the Houston area, with lows in the upper 50s across the northern half of the city, and the low 60s closer to the coast. But these temperate spring days won’t last as summer looms.

TODAY 

Lots of sunshine with highs in the low 80s. By late tonight we will probably see winds begin to swing back around, and come out of the Gulf of Mexico, heralding the eventual return of moisture.

SATURDAY

A little bit warmer to start the day thatn Friday, in the low- to mid-60s across the city. But still nice, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 80s. A few clouds are possible.

SUNDAY

That southerly breeze continues to pick up, with gusts to about 20 mph. Under partly sunny skies we’ll see temperatures in the low 80s. Some slight rain chances, but I’d bet against it for almost everyone.

Good morning, it’s a few degrees warmer this morning, but still dry and quite pleasant. The forecast remains fairly straightforward, so I’ll discuss that and then look ahead to when we might expect our first 90-degree day.

TODAY through SATURDAY

Another front will push through Houston today, which should keep our cooler, dry and sunny weather in place for a few more days. Expect sunny conditions with highs in the low 80s and lows in the low 60s through Saturday. When there’s high pressure like this we get calm weather.

SUNDAY

By Saturday we should see some moisture return, which could allow for a few high clouds to develop. It will also make for warmer mornings, beginning on Sunday. Still don’t expect any rain, however, as highs climb into the low 80s.

MONDAY through WEDNESDAY

The moisture from these southerly winds will bring rain chances back into the forecast, but we’re probably looking at a few tenths of an inch, not a few inches.

Good morning. Temperatures range from the upper 40s this morning in northern Montgomery County up to the mid-60s right on the coast. In any case, it’s glorious outside.

TODAY through SATURDAY

There honestly isn’t much to say about the forecast. We’re under high pressure, and in the wake of a cold front we’re going to see weather that is hard to beat for May. Highs on Tuesday only climbed into the mid-70s, but with less cold air moving down into Houston we’ll be a bit warmer in the days ahead. But not much.

For the rest of the work week I think we’ll pretty much see lows in the 50s for the northern half of Houston, and lower 60s for areas closer to the coast. High temperatures should remain around 80 degrees through Saturday under mostly sunny skies. Enjoy!

It’s a gorgeous morning across Houston, with lows generally in the mid-50s to low 60s. It feels wonderful, and we’ve got more of the same to come as high pressure builds over the region in the wake of Monday’s cold front.

TODAY

Words cannot really describe how wonderful today will feel. It’s probably the last, most spring-like day of the year until at least October. Partly to mostly cloudy skies this morning should give way to partly to mostly sunny skies this afternoon. Highs should only climb into the mid-70s. Temperatures will fall quickly into the 60s after sunset.

WEDNESDAY

Like highs on Tuesday, Wednesday morning will probably be our coolest morning until October as well. I could see temperatures falling into the upper 40s for some parts of Montgomery County, whereas most of the central and southern Houston area will be in the mid- to upper-50s.
