Good morning. The rain is over. The wind is coming to an end. Welcome to several days of splendid late winter weather.
TODAY-FRIDAY
Under the influence of high pressure, expect three similar days to end the work week, with highs in the mid- to upper-60s, ample sunshine, and cool nights with lows in the upper 30s for areas far inland, and in the low 40s closer to the coast. These will be great days.
SATURDAY and SUNDAY
As the high pressure system moves off Houston will see the return of onshore winds this weekend. However we should still see two mostly sunny days, and temperatures won’t warm up that much. Expect highs in the 70s, and lows in the 50s, with rain chances near zero this weekend.
MONDAY and beyond
Warmer conditions return by early next week, with highs likely in the mid- to upper-70s and lows climbing to around 60 degrees. Sometime beginning Monday or Tuesday we could also see a couple days of light rain, although there’s low confidence in terms of timing and amounts.
Great forecast! Will be spending time outside on the yard and house (which despite my fears did not blow over last night).
